SELFLESS Brits swelled our Jabs Army to 46,077 yesterday — just 3,923 short of our target as the national battle to beat Covid powered on.

Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid and Love Island star Jack Fincham were among those to back our campaign.

Former RAF Flt/Sgt Louis Godwin, 95, was among those inoculated

Salisbury Cathedral became the latest “hub” with 1,000 over-80s inoculated there yesterday.

Legoland Windsor, Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and The London Eye joined the roll-call of companies adding support.

Susanna said: “Last year was tough, so let’s help make 2021 better. It’s so important we get help to those who need it, and get this ambitious vaccination programme done.”

Jack added: “The Jabs Army campaign is a way to play a role. As every vaccination is potentially a life saved, I’ll be signing up myself.”

Love Island star Jack Fincham has also come out in support of the Jabs Army campaign

Former RAF Flt/Sgt Louis Godwin, 95, was among those inoculated. He said: “I was so pleased to get it, especially in a setting like this.”

We teamed up with the Royal Voluntary Service to find selfless Brits willing to give two six-hour shifts a month.

As more centres open, with jabs for those in their 70s starting from next week, our 50,000 volunteer stewards will be vital to the nationwide effort.
