Dr Raghib Ali, the government’s adviser on COVID-19 and Ethnicity, says the COVID situation has “really changed” in the last fortnight.
The Delta variant has “transformed the situation” he says, adding that we need to be “very cautious” going forward and a delay to the last step out of lockdown is “inevitable”.
