Health Secretary Matt Hancock says the Pfizer/BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine will be ready for roll out “early next week” after the UK’s independent healthcare regulator approved its use.
Mr Hancock said “this is fantastic news”.
Studies have shown the jab is 95% effective and works in all age groups.
