WWE RAW Women’s Champ Becky Lynch on watching WrestleMania 36 with Seth Rollins and animals amid coronavirus crisis

WWE star Becky Lynch has revealed that she will be turning off her phone to watch her WrestleMania 36 match with fiance Seth Rollins and their pets.

The Irish Lasskicker, dubbed “The Man”, will be defending her RAW Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler in the first-ever fully taped Show of Shows due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

WWE star Becky Lynch opened up on her plans to watch WrestleMania 36 with Seth Rollins

In an effort to contain the spread of the killer bug, Wrestlemania was moved from Tampa to WWE’s training facility, the Performance Center in Orlando AND other venues over two nights.

This year’s extravaganza presents a unique challenge to Vince McMahon’s wrestlers to deliver sports entertainment’s biggest spectacle without fans.

Although it does give WWE stars the unique opportunity of getting live reactions on social media as their WrestleMania match screens around the world.

However, Lynch, who has hyped her bout at the Showcase of the Immortals in various Twitter wars, admitted her coronavirus lockdown will see her cast her phone aside.

She told SunSport: “It’ll just be myself and Seth (Rollins) watching it by ourselves and our animals but that’s about it.

“I like to watch a match without the noise of a Twitter or Instagram, I think that can kind of dilute it.

“I think I prefer to just watch it myself to get my own measure of a match.

“It’s easier to measure with a crowd reaction, but you’re gonna see the test in people because it’s a whole different skill set and stories will be played out in different ways and I think that’s really interesting to watch.”

Lynch announced her engagement to Rollins last August after a whirlwind secret romance.

The 33-year-old, real name Rebecca Quin, has been dating the Beastslayer – Colby Lopez – since February 2019 but the pair only went public with their relationship in May.

The pair are both in action for WrestleMania weekend, with Lynch clashing with Baszler and the Monday Night Messiah set to face Kevin Owens.
